Travel by car:

From the north to the south Autostrada Napoli-Salerno ( E 45), highway exit "Castellamare di Stabia". Continue on the freeway SS 145 to Sorrento

Please be aware that the roads around Sorrento are narrow and highly frequented. Especially the road along the Amalfi Coast to Sorrento is very narrow and leads with many badly visible curves along the steep coast. Therefore it is recommended to drive slowly to be able to avoid oncoming buses at a rapid pace and driving along this coast is only advisable for drivers with strong nerves. Arrival by train

Sorrento's trainstation is located right in the center on the Via degli Aranci, Piazza Garibaldi. Here all regional trains with the name "Circumvesuviana" stop.
